Oncology Approvals Accelerate

Oncology approvals accelerate, but cancer deaths could rise too

Cancer could become the most deadly disease in the US, and cancer-related deaths are poised to increase as the number of cases among older people rises, according report from the American Association for Cancer Research.

The report found that the FDA approved 11 new cancer treatments in 11 months through July 31, 2013. Two of the drugs were approved along with companion diagnostics. "This is an example of how large-scale genomic analysis of patients' tumours is beginning to guide cancer diagnosis and treatment" the report said.

Onroach have an excellent track-record in Oncology.  As well as having strong clinical and research capabilities (including project management for end-of-life patients and telemedicine for remote areas), Onorach also has experience across chemotherapy, solid tumours, retrospective studies and patient’s ‘quality of life’ studies.  Onorach are also opening a specialist Oncology Unit in the Baltics in Q3 2014.
